ORIX USA is a financial services group established in 1981 in New York City, New York. ORIX USA headquarters moved to 1717 Main St. in Dallas, Texas, in 2003. The company has principal offices in New York; Los Angeles; Columbus, Ohio and Minneapolis, with satellite offices in other cities. Its parent company, ORIX Corporation, is a Tokyo-based, publicly owned international financial services company with operations in 36 countries and regions worldwide. ORIX Corporation is listed on the Tokyo (8591) and New York Stock Exchanges (IX).
ORIX USA and its family of companies offer investment capital and asset management services to clients in the corporate, real estate, municipal and energy sectors, while holding $6 billion of assets and managing an additional $29 billion, approximately.
In 2010, ORIX USA acquired RED Capital Group which provides financing for multifamily, senior living and health care projects through various FHA and Fannie Mae Programs. RED Capital Group continues to operate nationwide from its Columbus, Ohio headquarters.
In December 2010, ORIX USA acquired a majority interest in Mariner Investment Group, a manager of hedge funds and alternative investments with approximately $11.5 billion of assets under management. ORIX USA created a subsidiary, ORIX USA Asset Management to hold its investment in Mariner and potential other investments in the asset management space.

ORIX USA expanded its philanthropic initiative in November 2009, through the creation of www.orixfoundation.org, to support the growing community philanthropy of ORIX USA and its employees.
